HOW IT ALL STARTED
In 2011, after years of sailing the globe, Lisa Nye-Labonte founded Vamos in the friendly town of Almonte, Ontario to inspire people to discover the joys and benefits of exploring the outdoors. Inspired by the many Spanish-speaking countries Lisa visited, she chose the name "Vamos", Spanish for "let's go!"
Over a decade later, the Almonte community and the Vamos team have grown and evolved to serve a vibrant customer base of outdoor enthusiasts.
